The committee is looking ahead to our 2013 program, in particular considering a number of plays for the April and October slots.
Already, Noel Coward’s comedy Hay Fever, to be directed by Fay Walters, has been pencilled in for the ever-popular Month of Sundays in August.
The year’s opener, February’s Summer Sunday Wind-Down, will feature Louise Blackett’s production of John Galsworthy’s The First and the Last.
Among the plays suggested for our major show in April is a stage adaptation of the popular film Calendar Girls. To ‘test the waters’ on this show, an open play reading will be held in the Basement on Wednesday 14 November at 7.30 pm. Come along and join in the fun of this reading – there are plenty of parts available.
Further suggestions or proposals for the April and October 2013 slots are invited.
