A wonderful night was had by all who attended the SoACT Play Reading Night on Wednesday 14th November.
The play, CALENDAR GIRLS was made into a movie in 2004 with some very famous actors and we all appreciated the opportunity to read roles associated with Helen Mirren, Annette Crosby, Julie Walters and so on.
Play readings are always fun. Because everyone is reading the script for the first time it does not matter if people trip over words but on the other hand it is amazing how quickly you slip into character.
SoACT plans to hold more Play Reading nights in 2013 and I would encourage people to come along for a night with no pressure, but lots of laughs.
