Five x 10 Playfest

Presented by Wagga Wagga School of Arts   

As an addition to the annual Ten X 10 Play Fest,  Five X 10 Play Fest showcases the writers short listed by the three assessors for Ten X 10.

The Five short listed plays are plays of a high standard, and were runners up to the 10 plays selected to be performed as part of Ten X 10 Play Fest.

Wagga School of Arts aim is to encourage the writers by putting on their plays with a cast, director and a performance. Through this structure actors, directors can workshop and develop the original work and bring it to a high standard of entertainment, thus giving the writers work exposure and feedback.

The five plays are:

Generations of Regret by Adrian Hallam, Wagga Directed by Imogen Hadler

Shakespeare Bing by Julian Smith, Wagga Directed by Julian Smith

The Visit by Di New, Wagga  Directed by Elizabeth Woods

Tick Tock by Pat Brennan, regional writer, Directed by Felix Hadler

Fit for Purpose by Peter Rodgers, Sydney Directed by Diana Lovett

The plays are a mix of comedy, reflection and farce and totally entertaining with a strong cast of great actors.
