The annual Wagga School of Arts Ten X 10 Play Fest is a great platform for short play writers to submit their work and have it assessed by a team of professionals. 53 plus plays were submitted for consideration for the 2019 Ten X 10 Play Fest and after assessment ten were chosen plus a short list of five.

Margaret Bannister, the Convenor of 2019 Ten X 10 Play Fest, feels the quality of work that will be presented reflects the great skills of these writers. The Directors for the Play Fest have been nominated and include. Imogen Hadler, Georgi Lamond, Josh Steadman, Julian Smith, Adrian Hallam, Hannah Caterer, Craig Dixon, Margaret Bannister, Mel Donges. These directors vary in experience, with some first timers and some experienced. The Ten X 10 Play Fest is a great opportunity for new actors and directors to step up and thus increase the numbers in the creative pool for Wagga School of Arts…SoACT. 2019 sees Wagga School of Arts celebrating 160 years in the community as an educational and cultural facility serving the people of Wagga Wagga.
