| Last month’s acoustic cabaret night at the Basement Theatre was an evening of entertainment and fun. Hosted in inimitable style by Noel Raynes, it provided easy listening from singers and musicians, lots of laughs from the tellers of tall tales, and even a brief piece of theatre from SoACT. The concept is casual and relaxed and members should take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy an evening’s entertainment without the dreaded amplification devices! Noel is already planning another cabaret, this time on Wednesday night, May 22. If there’s something on upstairs that night, he’ll go ahead at a venue yet to be decided.
