| Sponsored by the Pavilion Boutique Hotel and Apartments, the SoACT production of Calendar Girls will be seen in the Basement Theatre for eight performances – five evening shows and three matinees – from October 3 to 13.Director Irene Robson has drawn together a fine cast of actors to follow the story of a group of women trying to raise money for a new couch in the local hospital’s waiting room – in a most unusual way!
The Wagga Cancer Council is behind the production, taking out a block booking for the show. As well, a special 2014 calendar featuring the cast is being produced, with profits from of the sale of these being donated to the Cancer Council and Breast Cancer Foundation. Bookings can be made at the Civic Theatre booking office with special discounts for group bookings. |
