In an exciting venture for SoACT,  I Love a Piano is under the direction of professional director/writer, actor and composer, Bethany Simons.
A former student of Charles Sturt University in Wagga, Bethany is building a strong following as a solo artist in Melbourne and in wider tours, and currently works as a program manager with Theatre Network Victoria.
In Wagga for I Love a Piano, Bethany is leading a professional creative team with Nichole Ingram as musical director and Melissa Donges as choreographer.
The cast for I Love a Piano includes Tim Lancaster, Melissa Donges, Lynette Hogan, Emma Carmichael, Katie Wall, David Payne, Laurie Theile, Lachy Gulliford, and Michele Sims- Hemmings.
In a further link with Charles Sturt University, assistant to the director is Saasha McMillan, who has just completed her third year in the Bachelor of Stage and Screen degree. Saasha recently appeared in SoACT’s production of Wild Goose Chase and is enjoying the opportunity to work with and learn from a professional director/performer.
I Love a Piano is the Wagga School of Arts’ first continuous season this year, rather than the group’s usual shows over two weekends.
Bookings can be made at the Commercial Club Booking Office, between 10am and 4pm, or online.
