Too Old For The Chorus, But Not Too Old To Be A Star

A musical revue which thumbs its nose at aging will open in the Basement Theatre, Wagga, next Sunday February 1st.
Too Old for the Chorus but Not Too Old to be a Star is an entertaining start to the Wagga School of Arts Community Theatre’s 2015 program.
The revue forms the popular February Fundays program with performances at 3pm each Sunday in February. It follows a small group of “aging” friends meeting in their local coffee shop to show they still have plenty to offer as songs consider fading memories, trying to master new technology, the invisibility of older people, and, triumphantly, a belief that age is just a number as they proclaim their faith in their continuing potential.
All in the cast of six are over the age of 50 (some more years than others!) – Tony Trench, Bob Hitchens, Fay Walters, Linden Lalic, Nancy Blacklow and Margaret Bannister, accompanied by the talented Jill Chappelow on piano.
Book now at the Civic Theatre booking office for an afternoon of musical fun in Too Old for the Chorus but not Too Old to be a Star – each Sunday in February at 3pm.
