Our Ten x 10 Play Fest is on again this year and will be performed at the Wagga Commercial Club, Gurwood Street, on the 7th 8th and 9th June 2013 . Evening performances will be held on Friday and Saturday, 7th and 8th June at 8 pm and Sunday 9th June at 3pm
2013 has been a record breaking year for playwrights submissions. We have received 55 scripts which have been sent to our chosen assessors for selection of only 10 to be performed. A huge and difficult task. However this year we are also choosing 5 runners up scripts which may be seen later in performance at our Basement Theatre.
Our next task is to find directors and actors who are interested in taking part. Anyone who would like to direct a 10 minute play or act in a 10 minute play please contact our office. A great deal of experience can be gained by being part of this Play Fest which also offers an opportunity to join a long running and successful community theatre company.
The chosen theme this year will compliment the celebration of the Civic Theatre Celebration of 50 years in existence. Hence the theme is “Theatre Gold”.
