At this years Australia Day ceremony, the nomination by SoACT for a Walk of Honour plaque in the main street for June Dunn was successful and at a later date, a plaque celebrating her achievements will be placed in the street at a small ceremony. Fay Walters and Nancy Blacklow attended the ceremony on behalf of SoACT (and almost melted in the sun) and June’s niece Pat Macdonald accepted the award and acknowledged SoACT’s role in the nomination.
Arrangements will be made for the large certificate to be placed in a prominent position in the Basement Theatre for all to see.
